WANT A BADASS INTERNSHIP?
With each live session video we produce, we also record and edit a brief 2-3 minute behind the scenes reel. We are looking for a talented videographer/editor to be at each shoot and then put together a BTS story based around that artist. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn the ropes and isn't afraid to ask questions. Ideal candidates should have a strong love for storytelling and music. A major/minor in film/audio production isn't required, but having a background in the above will go a long way.
Additional responsibilities may include:
-
Filming BTS at each shoot
-
Editing BTS for each shoot
-
Uploading videos to YouTube
-
Updating the descriptions within each YouTube video
-
Updating the meta-data, tags, text, and copy within each YouTube video
-
Scheduling the above content on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
-
Creating custom video thumbnails for each video
-
Assisting with setup + breakdown at each shoot
-
Filming and creating supplemental marketing material for the Light + Song brand
-
Assisting with SEO for each platform channel
-
Maintaining the Light + Song website
-
Creating additional aesthetics, graphics, and anything that benefits Light + Song's online image and branding
Our shoots are 100% professional and 100% all about being creative and having fun. Our internship will not be full time. Shoots will happen on the weekends and occasionally on weekdays - we schedule around the musician, so pinning down a consistent booking schedule isn't really our thing. We guarantee the intern will receive experience and education of lighting setups, camera composition, audio recording, post-production work flows, and social media marketing.
Because this internship is unpaid, we are looking for someone who is either still in school or a recent graduate. We are seeking those who understand the value in experience and education. We will do everything we can to provide the intern with a positive experience and a professionally edited reel by the conclusion of the internship.
Our timeframe is very flexible - whether it's from now till fall, just a Summer internship, or maybe a couple of months, we are open to having the conversation and seeing what works best.
